Aruncus dioicus (Goatsbeard)
Aruncus dioicus, native wildflower and member of the Rose family, is native to the rich woods and ravines of Pennsylvania, south to Georgia, and west to Alabama and Kentucky. The attractive feathery foliage and stalks of small, clustered creamy white flowers of Aruncus make quite a display in midsummer. Goatsbeard grows from three to four feet and does best in shaded, damp areas. Zones 4-8. Quarts.
