Hemerocallis "Little Minor"
This reblooming day lily has been around for a long time, but it's new to my garden so is not a Dockery day lily. Everything about it is petite: the flowers (though they make up for it with color and fragrance) and the scapes, which are arching and grasslike, are under a foot tall. It's also a slow grower and clump forming, but it makes up for that by blooming early and doing it again in fall. I can't think of one thing to complain about. Full sun, plenty of water, and you have yourself a perfect plant for edging or in a rock garden. Zones 3-8. Jam-packed Quarts.
