Thalictrum aquilegifolium album (Meadow Rue)
I'm here to tell you that one can never have enough varieties of Thalictrum. Even though it has a lovely name and beautiful blue/green foliage like Columbine and Maidenhair Fern and sprays of white, fluffy flowers in summer, they are hardier and tougher than one would think. This clump-forming, hardy perennial grows in partial shade and moist, well-drained soil, although it tolerates sun and soil on the dry side, too, and I know this from experience. Thalictrum aquilegifolium album grows to four feet tall in Zones 5-7. Quarts.
